Der Holtzmacher (The Woodmaker) was established in 1978 by Michael Holtz, a third generation woodworker. Its customers include churches, homeowners, and architects throughout the Midwest. In 1998, we moved into our new 12,345 square foot headquarters, which is a woodworker's dream. We invite you to visit our new showroom and production facility.

Der Holtzmacher, Ltd. specializes in custom designed furniture and cabinetry, liturgical furnishings, interior and exterior wood doors, and historical replication and restoration. We will work from your designs or we will custom design to your specifications. We utilize various tools and materials to bring your vision to reality.
